Fresh on the scene, this brand new hostel is an excellent addition to Cartagena´s seemingly endless plethora of budget hotels. Located on the popular Media Luna strip, this stunning colonial gem offers backpackers the chance to soak up the city's rich culture in the heart of the historical centre.
The impressive building surrounds a fine central courtyard where one can relax in the hammock or bathe in the hostels own pool beneath the shade of the palm trees. The local staff are enthusiastic and helpful and will strive to make your visit to their home town as rewarding as possible.
Guests can enjoy a newly installed kitchen at their disposal or visit the hostels cafe next door which is open throughout the day.
The quality and attention to detail is somewhat reflected in the prices, however they still remain reasonably modest considering the standard of accommodation offered. In total there are 160 beds spread over 28 rooms so availability is assured unless you are looking to stay in one of their two private double rooms priced at 80,000 which include a private bath.
Expect to pay 21,000 pesos per night in dormitory style accommodation with safety deposits at the reception as well as lockers in rooms.
